It is Mum's Day!

Hello friends
Happy Mother's Day to all you mums out there!
This is the Mother's Day Card and Gift Box that I teased you with a sneak peek recently.
It features flowers, butterflies and the very pretty Cosmo Cricket Evageline papers.
 A variety of dies including Gold Elements, Ornate Squares, Carnation Creations, 
A pretty envelope too.
 The largest die template in Ornate Squares makes a perfect base for Square Petal Top Box.
You may also be able to see some embossing in the box, this is created with 
Butterfly Garden Grand Impressabilities.
For a brilliant use of Grand Impressabilities on a canvas with molding paste nip over to
my fellow Spellbinders Design team member - Tina McDonald's blog - she has created
a full video tutorial with some superb techniques.
It will be my mum receiving these today and we are all having lunch at my sister's home,
Bella and boys coming along so I'm sure there will be photos.
There is also another Mother's Day project coming up tomorrow...well Mums deserve more than one day!

Yesterday I featured some lettering on a scrapbook page and was asked what it was...
I believe they are American Crafts thickers but not entirely sure.  I will continue to search....

    (lol)- okay, perhaps this expectation was a bit over the top.

    The card and box are absolutely beautiful - the embodiment of loveliness. (there you go, I've gone all poetic).

    Where does your mum keep all her pretty cards and boxes ?
    We Mums never throw anything away sent by our children .

    Hi Christine. Your mum will be so happy recieving that gift and card today.

    I must tell you,my lovely daughter made me a beautiful card. She isn't a card maker so doesn't usually make cards so it's extra special. I even got a hand made one from Gracie and all the cats, Babe, Kit, Harvey, Olive and Bertie. Very clever animals i have.
    Also got a beautiful garden ornament which is the image of Gracie. I'm a very lucky mum.

    Lovely card and gift box Chris, I like the idea of a different die underneath the gift box. Papers are great too. Have a good day today. I'm on the computer while the washing up is being done by my husband for a change.... my son disappeared as soon as lunch was over... typical !!

My son, daughter and son-in-law visited today and came armed with cards, pressi's and a gorgeous Lemon Drizzle cake that my son-in-law had made!
