Hello friends
Something new has popped up on the Spellbinders™ website - under the Explore Beyond tab
there is a section relating to 'Style' and the card pictured is mine!
Haven't they done a wonderful job displaying it with flowers and limes.
Here is my photo that I took for the card project and you can see a little bit more detail.
The dies used are Les Papillions Two, A2 Bracket Borders One and that super embossing
is from the Delightful Daisies 3D M-Bossabilities™ Folder.
So simple...just using white cardstock, embossed once (the emboss is so deep!) and then a variety
of distress inks, rubbing it over the surface - more intense in some places than others.
Layering up the A2 Bracket Borders One, tiny bit of ribbon and twine.
A little 'For You' tag...yes it's that tag die I lost but found again - phew!
I promise to stock these new 3D M-Bossabilities - they really are superb.
I hope you are all having a good weekend and keeping warm!
I didn't quite get around to the shop window yesterday as I got engrossed in projects
(and a Friday Die Day...preparing ahead!)
I'm cooking today - roast pork with all the trimmings (we don't do the word 'diet' in this house!)
Take care friends.

Hi Christine. Love the way Spellbinders have dressed your card. The embossing looks very deep and love the way you have inked it up. Roast dinner, set a place for me please.

What a lovely card Christine. I'm not a fan of orange so would probably choose a different colour way, but the design is great. Not sure what to have for lunch - off to the shops this morning for inspiration. Then it's loads of ironing for school/work tomorrow as there is not enough of the white stuff to stop that happening. Stamperama is on today in Stevenage - I'm tempted but as Make It is on next week in Farnborough I may save my pennies ( and hope it's a bit warmer next weekend to venture out). Ju
ReplyDeleteYou're right Christine. This beautiful card has been displayed perfectly, showing up all the colours used and that wonderful butterfly. Enjoy you roast! Hugs, Jenny x

ReplyDeleteI love this card and the colours you have chosen. I have started this using technique as I have lots of different embossing folders, and it completely changes them! The display of your card is fantastic.....which I had such an eye for detail.
Roast pork - yum! Enjoy as it's just what's needed on a chilly day.

Hi Christine, sweet little card, those 3D embossabilities are a must.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask a question, I have an 'old' or one of the first Spellbinder Grand C's, will the Raspberry plate work with it? I have been told there is a different Raspberry plate that I need due to mine being an original version G.C? Hope you can help as I would love to purchase these new embossing plates.By the way, I have got a white, Creative Impressions Embossing Plate for other makes and I know that can't be used with the spellbinders.
Enjoy your Sunday Roast'
Crafty best wishes, Carolyn x
