Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Friday Die Day is here and I'm going for pretty flowery papers - well, it makes a change from Christmas!
This week I'm featuring another one of the lovely Die D-Lites - Windows Two
This is how it looks cut/embossed.
I've chosen to use a piece of kraft cardstock.
I love the way the window opens.
I have my tag ready - using some of the very pretty Tilda Sewing Bird papers.
 Inked the edges slightly.
On the reverse of my die cut I've placed a piece of patterned paper, cut to shape -
this will create a background to the window.
Here it is - pretty flowers peeping through the window.

Added some tiny pearls, a stamped tag and twine.  I'm then going to adhere this to my tag.
I then chose to add a few tiny flowers and leaves from Homespun.
 A close up picture.
The Die D-Lites are perfectly proportioned for cards and tags,
I love them all but the window is especially pretty.
I have one left in my Amazon shop but some more are on order.
Take care friends, have a wonderful weekend.
Keep warm!

  2. Hi Christine,
These dies did not make me go out and purchase them. But with the few creations that you have done i might be persuaded to indulge.
Please keep FDD going as so much inspiration is only a good thing.

  6. Hi Christine. this is a beautiful tag. Wasn't that keen on the Dielites at first but they are growing on me.

Haven't been able to blog for the last week as i had a virus in my computer. I've been looking at your offerings every day but couldn't comment. Very frustrating but back to normal now.

  14. Hi Christine
The Ice Queen pic is beautiful and I am loving the Chatsworth pics. The tag with the window D-lite die is stunning. I have this die and can't wait to try using now. Can you show me how to use tags on cards as i never no how to angle one or groups of them, it never looks just right for me. Any ideas would be appreciated as I have made loads of tags but need to use them. Can't stroke them forever. They need to 'leave home' so to speak or I'll be known as the 'tag' lady.

  16. Hi Christine, What a pretty tag, will give serious consideration to purchasing this die at some point.
I've pre ordered the Spellbinders new project and also looking forward to my order coming from your amazon shop. I've ordered the snowflake3 dies, I've come up with some felt decorations for the tree that I want to put them on.
Bitter cold wind blowing today but the sun is shinning must wrap up warm now and take my four legged friend for a walk. C B W Carolyn x.

  17. Hi Christine, what a lovely tag. I missed the pick of the day as was away for a few days christmas shopping but like many above, was not initially attracted to them - which is unlike me as I like all things Spellbinders.
    Keep warm.
