Dog Show

Hello friends,
I'm going to indulge in a proud puppy owner blog post - I hope you don't mind.
We awoke to torrential rain yesterday morning but I so wanted to take Bella to the dog show,
we arrived nice and early and, as you can see,
despite grooming the wind and rain played havoc with her fur!
I queued to be allocated her show number and was just a little concerned to be...number 13!
But I need not have worried, in this case it was definitely lucky!
Here she is winning a 1st for Crossbreed Puppy.
I think it may have had something to do with rolling on her back and the Judge tickling her tummy!
And then right at the end she was awarded with Best Puppy!
When I set out for the dog show I was just hoping she might get a place not two brilliant rosettes -
I'm super proud!
I've rescued the rosette before Bella eats it!
I haven't told her yet that the Judges gave me some lovely dog food and plenty of doggy treats too!
So, that's my indulgent puppy owner post - I'm back tomorrow with craft and news!
Take care friends.

Well what a clever dog. Gives a rosy glow when lovely when things happen.

Was it in Higham near Gravesend I used to go to Higham village school many moons ago, as I lived quite near.

  6. Hi Christine, it's such a shame that the weather effected Bella's coat and the judges couldn't see her in her full glory. Congrats to her for winning two rosettes though & thanks for sharing the photos. She is so adorable.
