Chipboard Gift Bag

Hello friends,
I think we are all still in need of something bright!
Goodness me what is going on with the weather??
I've had my heating back on (cats and dog are pleased!) reverting to drying clothes indoors again -
I don't think anyone thinks it's June any more!
So a jolly bright gift bag today - again using those lovely Bo Bunny - Alora papers.
This time I've used Labels Twenty-Three to pop over the top to secure it closed.
I make these gift bags from envelopes and I like to secure them with a die cut and a little peg.
In the past they have looked like this....
and this...
and also like this...
For instructions on how to create a gift bag from an envelope I have a little You Tube video.
Yes it's a good excuse to grab a cup of tea or perhaps a hot chocolate in view of the weather!
Hope you can avoid the rain drops dear friends.
Take care,

  11. These are so lovely Christine.
They are all really pretty and I just adore the way you have done the flowers on the black and beige one.
This is definitely a fab idea to keep in the back of the mind for those special little packages we all have to do every year.
Thank you so much for sharing these and the video too.

  14. Hi Christine, Love the video. I have seen your beautiful envelope bags before, but have only thought of them as decorating inspiration. I didn't think about making one myself. The video made it look so easy. I will definitely be giving it a go as buying craft bags to decorate has become so expensive. Thank you for sharing this project with us.

  17. Hi Christine, Love the gift bag'ssss. Your idea of using a die as a closure with a little peg is 'dinky'. I have just made one following your Utube video, all I need to do is find some pegs. Best wishes, Carolyn x
