Father's Day Card 3

Hello friends,
By the magic of Blogger (I hope) this blog post should pop up on your screens today!
Another Father's Day card but this time something a little different - I created a fridge magnet, so a little keepsake too.  I typed out 'Happy Father's Day' on my computer to create the backing of the magnet,
layered two Classic Hearts and positioned a tiny crystal gem...
only to realise the front of the magnet wouldn't close!
I had to punch a tiny hole for gem to fit into..fiddly but worth it.
Quite a bit of distressing and placing the image, papers and magnet at an angle..I do struggle with straightness!

I do hope while I'm away you are getting sunshine.
Take care friends.

  8. Hi Christine, Hope you are enjoying your vacation. Thankyou for planning ahead & arranging a few blogs for us. I like the addition of a little gift to the card. Little keepsakes, like magnets, mean so much when received but are so expensive to buy from traditional card shops.

  9. Hi Christine,
Lovely idea for today, alas I no longer have my Dad to make a card for.
Hope you are having a relaxing holiday.
We were supposed to have a sunny day today but at the moment it's very cloudy and very chilly. When will summer come!

What a great idea to create your own with the computer. will definately have a go when I get home this evening. Sun is shining lovely here,(north east) MAKES A CHANGE.
