Welcome Back

Pinch, punch first of the month!
Do you remember when all I seemed to blog about was poinsettias...!  Oh Christmas seems ages ago now.
Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes for my son yesterday.  We had a brilliant day, despite the snow!
Here are a few photos.... the birthday boy with Bella...
the birthday boy with me...
I decided to make an array of cup cakes for the party...
and the beginnings of the chocolate fountain with an onlooker!
(Bella has spooky eyes but it appears that red eye software does not correct animal eyes!)
So returning to craft....
Today another map card, very simple with a recycled map as the backing paper, a couple of
Labels One including one that has been stamped, bakers twine and some punched 'map' butterflies.
I like the idea that this card could work if someone was coming home, moving back to an area.  Mind you, notice my map mentions cement works, printing works - bit industrial!!
I have a further map card to share with you tomorrow and then what will it be...??
I promise there will be something!
Hope your week is going well.

  14. What a lovely looking lad you have there Christine, he looks a really nice boy, I can understand you being so proud. I'm so you glad you all had a good time and he enjoyed his birthday, it is after all a day to remember.
Todays card is very different but I think the men would like this very much, as it is simple and not fussy.
It would also make a good Bon Voyage type card wouldn't it.
    All the best Linda
