Altered Gift Bag

Hello friends,
A simple creation to share today.  In my local town a lot of the card shops sell cheap gift bags with rope/string handles, I tend to buy these for my gifts and then with just a little alteration you can add a personal touch.

Firstly I dispense with the rope/string handles and use ribbon instead.
I then cut and emboss Spellbinders Rose Creations and Labels Twenty Two -
the smallest label in the set makes a brilliant gift tag.
Curl the edges of the rose petals to add some definition, stamp a sentiment on the label,
add butterflies and bling - and it's finished.
It's simple and quick to do and definitely much prettier than a plain gift bag!
Thank you for stopping by today.

  7. The bag looks really lovely. I have some plain brown bags (from hobbycraft I think) and I will definitely try your idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
