What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Thank you for all your lovely comments about my new blinds last week - yes, I promise to pull them back so the garden is visible but right now the garden is horrible, can't wait for Spring.
Apologies to all those who remarked on the serious lack of cats!
To make amends.....

here is Imogen rather happily breaking in a new cushion -
a Christmas gift from my sister (she knows me so well!)

and then Fluff managed to get in on the act (she's a bit grumpy and not photogenic!)
They all love the new cushion!

But now to the workdesk - some serious design team work going on especially as my BIG news is that I made it through the first round of Spellbinders DT call - I am chuffed to bits.
This photo definitely shows the crafting conservatory really is so much cosier at night now, I install myself there with DVD player and hours simply drift away!

Have a great week everyone and come back soon.

  5. I'm SO happy for you. Here's to round 2!! I agree that the room is cozy, but you know I always came for the outside view (grin). But now I can truly concentrate on your desk. Believe it or not, I never noticed all the rest of the room before, including your Spellbinder. While you are sewing, stamping, and making butterflies, don't forget to emboss. I saw a TV show that showed the embossing. They used a monogram they embossed, then ran it through the circle cutters. I hope you get the position. If you do, will you open the blinds (grin)?

  6. And Bleubeard wanted to say hi to Imogen and Fluff.

  7. OK, I'm not stalking you, but my first post didn't make sense. They positioned the circle die over the embossed monogram, then ran the circle die through the Spellbinder. They taped the circle die to the top of the die in one spot and also to the monogram so it wouldn't shift when they ran the whole thing through the machine. NOW maybe I'm making sense.

  34. Ah, great, the return of the cats and don't they look so comfie with the new cushion. I've got one that say's 'If you want the best seat in the house, move the cat.' So true :) Your room looks as though it has doubled in size since you got the new blinds and I'm sure they do make the room seem much more cosy at night. Elizabeth #87

  37. Awwww your cats are *gorgeous*! Imogen is such a poser too!

Your crafting conservatory does look lovely and cosy with the blinds closed... I wish I could while away hours in my craft room.. I am feeling seriously craft-deprived but with a 3 week old baby and DH working from home at the moment, I don't seem to get chance to spend more than a few minutes at a time in my craft room!!
