Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week's Friday Die Day is cute!
The die set is Some Bunny designed by Debi Adams - one of her
Little Red Wagon designs.

There are 7 dies in the set and the approximate measurements are:

Tail: 0.40 x 0.45 in. 1.0 x 1.1cm
Bow: 0.75 x 0.35 in. 2.0 x 0.9cm
Arm: 0.40 x 0.85 in. 1.0 x 2.2cm
Headband: 1.35 x 1.25 in. 3.5 x 3.2cm
Body Front: 1.35 x 1.40 in. 3.5 x 3.5cm
Body Profile: 1.25 x 2.50 in. 3.2 x 6.4cm
Head: 2.15 x 2.10 in. 5.5 x 5.3cm

This is how each die looks when cut.
There are two body options - a side view or sitting.

I started by die cutting the bunny's head and using the die for placement
marked the eyes and nose in black pen.  Freehand added white dots and whiskers.

My card base, kraft card with matted patterned paper from my scrap box.

Added the bunny's body and positioned him on a Pierced Rectangle die cut.
(Pierced Rectangles back in stock here).
I decided his head needed to be at a jaunty angle!

I then typed an appropriate message, die cut and added his bow tie.

Just an addition of a heart and flower and here's the finished card - I adore him!
(Yes I've decided this bunny is a boy bunny!)

Would work so well for Valentines and Easter.

Some Bunny is available on the website here.
Also please check out Debi's other designs - cuteness overload!

This weekend it is a very special event - my mum's birthday.
We are all going out for a meal tomorrow night and when I say 'all'
Bella is included, it is a dog-friendly restaurant!

Take care friends - wishing you all a lovely weekend.

Just Pawing Around...

Hello friends

I'm sharing another favourite today.
(I promise there are new projects coming - I just cannot share them just yet).
Easy to understand why this is a favourite, Pawing Around (Cat) -
it feature a cat, two styles of heart and paw prints.

I've chosen to make a cat sympathy card.
I've noticed shops now stock sympathy cards for the loss of a pet
which I think is lovely.

For my card I die cut from black card and then drew around around the heart shape
and cut out to create a cream card backing.

My card base - a strip of dotty patterned paper adhered down the left hand side.

It was then simple...stamped the sentiment down the right hand side
(Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings),
I placed the heart bottom central to the card front.
Added a paw print (middle size) and flower - the flower is Marisa's Bouquet.

Pawing Around - Cat is available on the website here - it's in the sale!

Take care friends -
wishing you all a 'purr-fect' day - sorry couldn't resist!

Favourite Flowery Tag

Hello friends

We had a wonderful day at the Kent Show on Sunday but goodness it was hot!
I find the heat just zaps my energy, I'm far more productive in winter!

Today I'm back with a favourite flowery tag.

I've taken a regular kraft luggage tag and papers from Cosmo Cricket.
These are my most favourite papers of all time and I just had a few scraps left.
The dotted layer has been die cut with Pierced Rectangles
and the ivory cardstock with Classic Scallop Squares SM -
both available on the website.

Affixed my layers in place.

Cut two banners and stamped with a sentiment -
Altenew.

My foliage and flowers are from Floral Berry Accents.

A few gemstones added - the finished tag.

I have this tag on my display table in my craft cabin, I often change
the projects but this one is permanent.

Take care friends - apparently cooler weather today
so I intend to be busy.
