Butterfly Treat Bag

Hello friends
This is my final scheduled post - fingers crossed Blogger has behaved and it has all gone to plan.
A treat bag today...oh yes I have a fascination with chocolate!
I partially demoed this on TV, it was somewhat rushed but hopefully you got the gist.
Ornate Squares is featured with Splendid M-Bossabilities folder and....Butterfly Corner..again!!
I did warn you I adore this butterfly!
A side view, I've kept the bag closed by using magnets.
This is a perfect idea for using up those chocolates with the centres you do not like!
I'm home later this evening and I hope to bring lots of trade show news to you tomorrow.
Take care friends.

Pretty Envelope

Hello friends
Oh look I spy another butterfly today!
Again using the beautiful Butterfly Corner die template ...adore butterflies!
The very pretty embossing is Splendid M-Bossabilities  folder.
It is created from a length of cream cardstock, I cut/embossed the butterfly corner first,
inserted the remaining cardstock into the M-Bossabilities folder with the 'corner' protruding.
I then inserted a panel of coloured paper under the flap and tied around with twine.
My plan was to create a matching card..but time just slipped away from me.
Take care friends - I'm due home tomorrow evening in time to get to London job for
Thursday and Friday...I'm never bored!

Too much chocolate...never!

Hello friends
By the power of Blogger scheduling this should go live while I'm in Birmingham!

Is it Easter yet??
You would think so by the amount of eggs in the supermarket.
Mind you, I'm not moaning - I am very partial to a Cadbury Buttons egg and normally
manage to eat a few way before Easter!
Today's crafty project is to create your own egg packaging - I started this last
Easter and it proved really popular.  A length of cardstock - you may need to join in depending
on the size of your egg, scored twice to create a base, drawn up and sealed with an eyelet and twine.
For the dies - Gold Labels Four and the butterfly from Butterfly Corner.
***Crafty Alert*** expect to see this butterfly quite a lot - it is climbing up my favourites chart!
A side on view to see the golden egg, it is stuck in place with some Dodz
It glams up a normal egg and makes it much more special.
I'm back tomorrow dear friends.
Take care.

The Return of the Butterfly!

Hello friends
A busy but very enjoyable day yesterday - always fun to catch up with TV land.
HUGE thanks to those who emailed into the studio, I saw familiar names and
it made me feel so much at home - I'm blessed to know you.
A warm welcome to my new followers - thank you for visiting and I promise you
plenty of Spellbinders - a daily dose in fact!

Today a kraft card featuring a stunning butterfly from Butterfly Corner,
layered Gold Labels Four and Splendid M-Bossabilities folder.
No sentiment, bows or twine on this card as I just wanted to focus directly on the
new dies and that gorgeous butterfly, the stencilling through draws out all the detail.
Plus I'm loving the clever debossing with the 'Imperial Gold' dies.
Today I'm in the studio with six lovely ladies for the Grand Dies and Nestaboard Notebook class.
As mentioned, I'm running this class again on 17 March - just click on 'Spellbinders Academy'
in the sidebar for more details.
As soon as the class finishes I'm dashing to the train station to get to Birmingham.
Excited to be attending the trade show and I suspect I will have no trouble sleeping at the hotel...
aside from missing Bella of course...and the boys!
I will be scheduling some posts for when I'm away but I've got my faithful iPad with me
to catch up with comments and emails - I never like to feel too far away.

Take care friends.

A Leather-Look Notebook for TV

Hello friends
Something a little different.....
Really hoping I get to show you this today on Create and Craft because
it is so very simple but it looks really effective.
I've altered a normal little notebook using patterned paper, brown cardstock,  Locking Loops and the Numbers and Letters M-Bossabilities folder.
Some inking helps the leather-look.  A great gift for a gentleman maybe.
I'm shall be driving up to the TV studios in Peterborough nice and early this morning.
Also I believe I have another show so my times are 11am, 4pm and 6pm.
My lovely Mum is coming along to TV with me today - she keeps me going with chats, snacks and is the
best organiser in the world!

In fact I'm so grateful that  my Mum is such an organiser because on Sunday evening
I'm hopping on a train to Birmingham for a few days and leaving the running of my home,
the boys and very importantly Bella under Mum's instruction!
I'm going to be at 'Stitches' meeting up with Kim from Spellbinders and
Betina from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
I'm going to walk the floor to see what goodies are new and interesting.
I hope to bring you lots of future ideas and no doubt continue you to tempt you
with craft goody gorgeousness!

Oh yes, while I'm away if you happen to order from my Amazon shop I have eldest son on standby
to fulfil the orders so hopefully no inconvenience will be caused.
But, just in case there is a slight delay - teenage boys keep different hours to me!

Take care friends and if you have a chance, tune into Create and Craft today
and possibly drop me an email there - I love to see familiar names.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends
One of the lovely Die D-Lites™  this week - Medallion Two.
I'm very fond of the Die D-Lites, the sizing is ideal of cards and definitely tags!
There are a beautiful assortment in the medallion range.
You receive three die templates with this set.
This is how they look cut/embossed.
The middle die does not have an outer cutting edge so you can either place it inside the label shape
or onto a larger piece of card to create a pretty aperture design.
I've chosen to cut/emboss some from red cardstock and patterned paper.
A tag...the lettering is upside down because I wanted the flourish patterned paper to the bottom!
I've placed the die cuts using foam pads (also it has hidden the upside down letters!)
Placed into the middle a Rose Creation cut from vellum and sprayed with glimmer mist.
I love doing this!
Stamped the bottom edge of the tag with some wording - the definition of 'Cre-ate'.
This stamp is from the Artistic Stamper - details are here.
A close up shot.
A simple speedy tag today and talking of tags...
I now have the ones that I use in my Amazon shop - both in manilla and kraft, just click on the sidebar.

Other news...a space has just become available on my Nestaboard/Grand Dies class this Sunday,
just in case any of you are free ...it is 11am to 4pm - email me if you fancy coming along
to craft, chat and eat cake!
Take care friends - have a brilliant weekend.
