It all starts here...!

Today marks my official start date with Spellbinders Paper Arts Design Team!
(I know I've talked about this quite a bit so you probably thought I'd started already!)
In 5 days time I will be leaving Gatwick and arriving at Phoenix, Arizona
to meet 11 very talented ladies, my fellow Design Team members.
All of their names can be found on my blog-roll on my sidebar, be sure to visit their fantastic blogs via the links.  I am so thrilled to have this opportunity to learn so much about Spellbinders and their products.
I would also love you to come back and visit me from time to time and join me on my design
journey.
Right now I'm one very happy girl!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Oh dear - what a muddle!
This is my desk after arriving home from a fantastic weekend away and just dumping everything.
I will get round to sorting things but it seems a big task right now!
Just in case you're new to this workdesk craze, click on the WOYWW logo on my sidebar.
On the subject of my weekend away, my two lovely friends made me these....
A unique and special cake stand and a pretty gift bag with lots of lovely travel goodies which will be perfect for my trip to Arizona next month... have I mentioned that..oh yes probably about a zillion times!
On the crafting front I've done quite a lot which will all be revealed soon so it would be lovely if
you could come back and visit.
And finally...so glad it is officially Spring!

Sarah Hurley Embossing Challenge - Chance to Win!

This week the Sarah Hurley Challenge is lucky enough to be sponsored by Handy Hippo! Handy Hippo is a friendly online craft supplies shop with a great range of rubber stamps and other card making goodies - including plenty of embossing folders and dies for the Cuttlebug. Their website has lots of information on crafting techniques, plus a great selection of free card project ideas to suit crafters of all abilities so please pop over and visit them!

They chose a theme of embossing this week and have given us some embossing folders as a prize! There will be 3 for the winner and one each for 2nd and 3rd place. You can see them on their website here.
I created my card using an embossing folder and Sarah Hurley butterfly design paper.

So snap up the chance to win and visit Sarah Hurley - join in and lots of luck.

Scrap Our Stash - February Challenge - 'Dust if Off'

The challenge for Scrap Our Stash this month is to find something at home that we've neglected, dust it off and use it.
So I rummaged in my cupboards and found this wooden box that I purchased ..um... about 2 years ago!
So it was indeed time for a little box makeover.
Before...
After.....

I am really pleased with the finished result.
Visit Scrap Our Stash every day to see more ideas.
