Hello friends
A clean and simple card today.
This card has also appeared in this month's edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft
Magazine in the Question and Answer section asking ...
"Is there a quick and easy way to make paper bows for my cards?"
Again, I did smile to myself because I'm just now a 'bow person'!
The magazine asked me to feature a Stampin' Up bow punch ...hence the bow!
I happily combined this with Spellbinders Grommet Tags and
Cabbage Rose M-Bossabilities folder to make a crisp clean card.
The papers are Anna Griffin - Lovely Layers. How is your week going?
I sort of had a day off yesterday, I say sort of because I spent a few hours ironing
whilst having my lounge carpet cleaned!
Until the carpet dries fully we are relegated to our bedrooms - boys do not mind,
they live in their bedrooms anyway. Bella is confused although not really objecting
to the bedroom...
And a pile of furniture one end of the lounge is a fantastic cat activity climbing frame!
Still, it will be nice to have a pristine carpet!
Two years ago today Elliott was admitted to King's for his brain surgery.
So much has changed in two years (although not the t-shirt - that's a favourite!!)
You never imagine something like this happening to your child and when it does
it is like being hit by a bulldozer. Thankfully the situation has been made easier by friends,
especially all my blog friends who take the time to comment, message me and more -
I can never say thank you enough.
Take care friends.

Hi Christine. Love the CAS card, the papers are lovely aren't they.
I can't believe it is 2 years since Elliott had his op. He has come so far, and gone up and out too as you can see from the fit of his T shirt. It's not going to last him much longer is it. You should all be proud of how you have all managed and looked after each other during that awful time. My fingers are still firmly crossed that Elliott gets to use an open sided scanner : )
Have a lovely day. Take care xx
Elliott's looking so grown up now - what a tough two years for you all and so lovely to see him smiling after all he's been through.
Thanks for my charity kit, arrived yesterday and I'm looking forward to adding it to my book

Hi, Christine, I can't believe it's 2 years since Elliot had that operation! I had just joined you, and have been here every day since. It's so good to see him smiling and looking well, even though he doesn't cope easily with the follow up procedures. I hope those are sorted out soon.

Hi Christine, I love the CAS card, love the bow and I adore Anna Griffin papers, I have stacks of them that I 'stroke' haha.
I can't believe how time flies, it doesn't seem 2 years, but I'll bet you are all glad it is 2 years on, and Good Luck for the future.
I had to chuckle at the piccie of Bella, showing her teeth, doggies always make me smile when they have this expression on their faces, she certainly wasn't 'phased' by being banished to the bed !!!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Not being on here for very long I can only comment that I know exactly what you've been through My son had quite a few heart ops in his short life We'd rather be operated on ourselves than see our children go through it Looks like he's thriving now
Love your card - a definite my kind of card
Bella looks adorable too cheeky little madam No wonder age melts your heart
Hi Christine, Time flies by so quickly glad all went well, so nice to see Elliot smiling. I hate carpet cleaning everything upside down but it's nice to have a clean carpet .Oh and the card is lovely . love Jean Z xx
Hi Christine
Is it really 2 years since that terrible bombshell, amazing how well Elliott looks today. Isn't medical science an amazing thing?
I love the picture of Bella, she certainly is a lady who enjoys life's little luxury's!
Fab card too, a punch you say - how does that work? Do you shape your bow before you make it up?
Take care
Lesley
Wow 2 years, where did that go!! You have been so strong although I'm sure there have been many times when you didn't feel it. Elliot is amazing and looking very well and may I say a very good looking young man. The lovely Bella looks very comfortable. Oh and pretty card too. X
